Taking the “Bite” Out of TMJ Pain

teeth health smile dentistMillions of individuals suffer from varying forms of Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ). Over time, unintentionally grinding your teeth can cause physical damage to your teeth.

Three behaviours contribute to this problem:

– Bruxism (grinding your teeth) is one of the main symptoms and this can even occur when you are asleep.

– You may unknowingly tighten your jaw during stressful situations.

– Be mindful of your posture, as a bad back is associated with TMJ

”By handling your stress, having good posture, and properly caring for your teeth, TMJ symptoms can be less painful!
