Recent scientific research would seem to indicate that girls’ teeth have stronger enamel than boys. The reasons are as yet unclear but it may be simply because of genetic factors or the fact that girls, generally, take better care of their teeth.
As the study states that enamel strength may be due to genes, but eating habits, eating disorders, and dental hygiene cab weaken enamel.
