Although pacifiers have several benefits, it’s important to avoid prolonged use so baby’s oral health isn’t affected:
– Ideally, a pacifier should be used as a last resort, and ideally only when your child is napping.
– Prolonged use can prevent the child’s mouth developing properly and cause crooked teeth.
– Avoid dipping the pacifier in a sweet liquid as this can encourage tooth decay.
“You can talk more with your child-friendly dentist about the use of a pacifier and continue to schedule regular checkups for your little one to ensure their tooth development is on track!”
