Composite bonding can be applied with no adjustment to the underlying tooth although, at times, slight adjustments are required in order to achieve the optimum visual outcome. Specific materials and techniques are used to make the join between the tooth and the restorative material “invisible”.
The patient below wanted the gap in her front teeth closed conservatively, without porcelain veneers or orthodontics. Dr Little built up the patient’s two front teeth equally with natural, tooth-like aesthetic composite material in order to minimise the gap.
