If you have a severe dental phobia, the best way to overcome it is to visit the dentist. Although this sounds counterintuitive, a dentist is best placed to understand and help you deal with your fears.
– Have a preliminary meeting with the dentist to discuss your anxiety. This will not include examination of your teeth.
– The dentist will help you grow more comfortable about dental work.
– The dentist will carry out your first dental examination with sedation to keep you comfortable or even asleep during the procedure.
“You have options to overcome your dental phobia to help your smile stay healthy.”
